B2B Collections Opportunity | Onsite West Metro | Up to $29/hr

A well-established manufacturing organization in the West Metro is seeking an experienced B2B Collections professional for a temporary, onsite assignment (3-4 months). This role also has the potential to become permanent if both the company and the individual decide it's a strong long-term fit.

This position supports a national customer base across industrial, commercial, and construction markets and plays a key role in maintaining strong cash flow and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of business-to-business customer accounts and actively pursue payment of outstanding invoices
  • Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve past-due balances
  • Review AR aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on delinquency and risk
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, short pays, and unapplied cash
  • Negotiate payment arrangements in accordance with internal policies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed collection notes within the ERP/AR system
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Billing teams to resolve account issues
  • Monitor credit limits and escalate high-risk accounts as needed
  • Assist with month-end AR reporting and collections metrics
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contract terms, and applicable regulations

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B collections or commercial accounts receivable
  • Strong understanding of AR aging, payment terms, and credit principles
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
